As I mentioned in another thread, I think the recording is stellar, just really clear and a great mix. I love the audio on Reckoning from around that same period, something was really working with the recordings and probably the sound in general around 1979 and 1980.

I agree with you about the highlights, its the first set material and particularly the High Time and Lazy Lightning>Supplication. I listened to that High Time on a sunset desert hike not long ago and it really floored me. Garcia's voice still sweet and high, beautiful electric piano from Brent, very good backing vocals from Bob and Brent (is Phil in there at all?) and really a near-flawless performance of perhaps my favorite Garcia ballad.

The jamming is not that strong in the second set material, agreed. Overall, though, Go To Nassau is solid, yeah.
